YOUR GUIDE TO HARWICH & DOVERCOURT Dovercourt Town Centre, which includes the High  Street and Kingsway, has a great choice of High Street  brand names as well as an excellent selection of  independent and family run shops, including  specialist food shops, gifts, crafts, clothing, electrical goods, florists and much more. Harwich not only offers a great selection of unusual  book and antique shops, but has an abundance of  great pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also  numerous attractions to visit in and around the town  including the High and Low Lighthouses, the Treadwheel Crane, the Electric Palace Theatre and the  home of Christopher Jones, Captain of the Mayflower. GETTING TO HARWICH AND DOVERCOURT  BY TRAIN: The hourly service from Harwich  International Port to Dovercourt Bay (for Dovercourt  Town Centre) and Harwich Town (for Historic Harwich)  leaves at 17 minutes past the hour (Mon  Sat) and  on Sundays at 43 minutes past the hour. Tickets may  be purchased on line using a credit or debit card or at Harwich or Dovercourt stations. www.abelliogreateranglia.co.uk  BY BUS: Service 2 runs from outside the Ferry  Terminal Building into the Town Centre every hour,  at 25 minutes past the hour.
